Stephen Curry Invites local hooper to private "Underrated" camp. The all-time leading and best three-point shooter in the league (no argument there), Stephen Curry started a private invite-only camp called, Underrated. However, Curry wasn't always the league's MVP and best three-point shooter; he was genuinely underrated going into college and going to the NBA. While in high school, Curry was labeled as a typical small guard standing a whopping 6'2 and weighing 165 pounds. He was tiny, to say the least. Despite his talents Coming out of high school, Curry didn't have any significant accolades, big-time awards, wasn't a five-star or four-star prospect. Instead, he was a three-star prospect, but that never once stopped him from chasing his dream. Curry was an underrated player coming out of high school. Then, Curry signed on to play at Davidson University, a small mid-major school where they were one of few offers on the table.
Curry takes a National Stage
However, Steph took the nation by storm. He spent three years there showcasing who he was as a player. He is a sharpshooting point guard.
Although he razzled and dazzled, hitting any shot he took. it still wasn't enough. Curry had to prove himself to the world. Heading into the NBA draft, they called him too small to play at the next level, his game wouldn't transition to the NBA level, and Curry was overlooked and underrated. Now, those same critics claiming to know Curry wouldn't make it are now the same ones singing his praises as Curry is 2x league MVP, 3x Champion, the league's all-time three-point shooter. Honestly, the list of awards and records goes on and on. Still, Curry being so underrated his whole life, has taken that drive and launched the underrated tour.

Now, the underrated tour gives kids like Curry to showcase their talents before Mr.Curry himself. Curry puts on camps across the United States. There, hundreds of kids try out to get that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. They strive to show that they are not underrated.
Now, Stephen Curry Invites local hooper to private "Underrated" camp. Local talent and MacArthur High School star Arzhonte Dallas took the challenge to prove himself not UNDERRATED and try out for the Dallas, Texas region of the tour. While Arzhonte may not seem underrated to the local Southwest Oklahoma region as he has scored over 1,000 points in his high school career, Arzhonte feels he himself is underrated and wants more than anything to show he belongs in all conversations. During his tryout in Dallas, Arzhonte played against hundreds of kids from everywhere in the southern region, all trying to show that they too belong in the top eight to move on. Arzhonte, though, made an impactful impression. Then he was invited to fly out to be one of eight to go to the private invite portion of the Underrated Tour. There he'll not only get to prove himself to win the tour but also get to meet Curry.
