What is the Oklahoma Sports Network?
Oklahoma Sports Network proudly provides a free HD-TV online broadcast of high school and college sporting events throughout Mid Del public schools in Oklahoma City to include Carl Albert, Midwest City and Del City, Lawton area with Lawton High, Eisenhower and Macarthur, Altus, Duncan, Newcastle, Cache, Elgin and Cameron University. We currently broadcast live football, basketball, baseball, soccer, wrestling, softball, volleyball and we are adding new sports and events all the time, so check back often!
You can watch the games live or on demand throughout the archives from any computer, tablet or smart phone, and it’s completely free. We have now added our free app in which you can download to Roku and Amazon Fire Stick. We have people throughout our community who watch our games when they can’t make it to a live event, and we also have relatives in other states and those out of the country who are able to watch, to even servicemen and woman who are deployed overseas!
We also have our Game of the Week channel suitable for sporting events not attached to a certain school. We broadcast live a popular game or event that can be found in the state of Oklahoma. For example in 2018 we did all of the Comanche County Basketball Tournament.

We have a very diverse and professional group that has various backgrounds in broadcast and media experience. We cover play by play for football,basketball,baseball,softball,soccer,and volleyball. We entertain as well as inform.
Eric Sharum, co-owner of Oklahoma Sports Network, has been in broadcasting for 34 years. He is passionate about all sports, but especially on the local level. He finds it very rewarding to provide a service for many who cannot possibly attend a game and to share the experience with family and friends from around the world or to provide the opportunity for others to relive it with replays or playbacks. He has enjoyed broadcasting play by play and color commentary for sports for 22 years and has received an Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters award for best in play-by-play. Eric takes pride in OSN’s investment in top quality equipment and experienced broadcast crews to provide great picture, production elements and commercials.
Eric grew up in Iron River, Michigan and received a degree in broadcasting. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Cae, and their two sons, Caleb and Joshua.
Eric is the play by play announcer for the Macarthur Highlanders and Cameron Mens Basketball
Jay Burk, Co-owner and CFO of Oklahoma Sports Network, believes athletics is core to growth in young adults. He sees extracurricular activities as being fundamental in helping young adults achieve their goals. Jay has found it personally rewarding to coach many student athletes that had no adult supervision in their lives, make them feel valued and part of a team. Jay approaches his work with integrity and confidence, always providing the quality of work that was promised and offering experiences that no one else can come close to offering. Jay finds it very rewarding to provide HD television for no charge to viewers especially to military servicemen and women that may be deployed and otherwise unable to watch a game.
Jay attended MacArthur High School and Cameron University. He is also a licensed mechanical contractor. When he is not working with OSN, he works in his business, J&J Burk Heating and Air Conditioning. J&J Burk has been named the PSO Partner of the Year three years in a row. Jay is very involved in the Lawton community serving on city council, the Lions Club and the board of the Lawton Community Theater.
He enjoys spending time with his daughter, Schyler, and his family. He is also an avid OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys Football fan.
Jay is the color commentator for the Macarthur Highlander Football team
Mike Newell enjoys the lifelong connections he has made while coaching young athletes in football, baseball and broadcasting. He has broadcasted games for all three high schools in the Lawton Public Schools district and the Comanche County Basketball Tournament. He has also worked on the table crew for the Lawton Ft. Sill Cavs and Cameron University Basketball.
Mike received his BS and his MS in Educational Leadership from Cameron University. When not broadcasting with Oklahoma Sports Network, Mike works as the Director of Health and Sciences and STEM Education at Great Plains Technology Center. In 2013, he was named the Oklahoma Career Tech Educator of the Year.
Mike is married to his wife, Traci, and they have a son, Harmon. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and attending Harmon’s football and baseball games at Lawton High School.

Joshua Sharum grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma and is a graduate from MacArthur High School and currently attends Liberty University. He works part time for an attorney in Lawton and hopesto attend law school after graduation. He is majoring in Political Science and has a passion for politics, sports, and Christ. He loves to play golf and have fun with friends and family. Joshua is an analyst and broadcaster for the Lawton High Wolverines
Matt Lewis is currently a science instructor at GPTC-SCORE Program and has served that position for the last 7 years. He had been a Science teacher and coach for LPS the previous 16 years.
Matt is married to wife Devon who is a career councilor for LPS and they have 2 daughters Payton and Paige students who attend at OSU.
Matt has loved coaching sports and has assisted coaching for football for 4 years, Head Baseball and softball coach for 5 years, assistant basketball for 7 years and assistant softball coach for 3. His broadcasting experience had been the color commenatator for EHS football for 9 years before joining OSN
Matt currently is the play by play announcer for Ike football. Plus play by play and color commentary for our softball and baseball games of the week for High School and Cameron University.
